Maybe we should listen to the Norwegian figure skater and film star, Sonja Henie

who won an Olympic medal in 1936. She said,

“Jewelry takes people’s mind off your wrinkles!”

I have tested this . And it is true that when I see a woman with a beautiful piece of jewelry, a pin, a necklace, earrings I look no further.  I am busy admiring what she is wearing.Of course your jewelry must be something to admire, a small locket won’t distract.
